Website technology

Cookie Notice

What cookies are, how the redesigned Dekela website currently uses them and what must change if analytics or marketing technology is introduced.

Current build: no analytics, advertising pixels or non-essential cookie scripts are installed. Run a production-domain cookie scan before launch and update this notice if hosting sets additional cookies.

01

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on a computer, phone or other device when someone visits a website. Similar technologies can also store or access information on a device. They may make a service work, remember preferences, measure use or support advertising.

02

How this website currently uses cookies

The redesigned Dekela website does not currently install analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. No non-essential cookie is deliberately set by the application code.

The hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technology to deliver pages safely, balance traffic or prevent abuse. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, but users should still receive clear information about them.

03

Third-party services and links

The site loads fonts supplied by Google and links to Google Calendar for appointment booking. Following the booking link takes you to another service, which may use cookies under its own privacy and cookie information.

The native enquiry form sends information to Dekela’s protected Lovable Cloud database and does not itself require advertising or tracking cookies. If a future email or form service introduces non-essential cookies or similar technology, this notice and the site’s consent controls will be updated before that feature is activated.

04

Managing cookies

Browser settings can be used to view, block or delete cookies and restrict third-party cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technology may prevent parts of a website or online service from functioning correctly.

Private-browsing modes can reduce local storage but do not make online activity anonymous.

05

Analytics, consent and future changes

If non-essential analytics, embedded media or advertising tools are added, they must not be activated before a user has made an informed choice. The site will require an appropriate consent control and this notice will need a current list of providers, purposes and cookie durations.
